ABOUT ME
I did my undergrad studies at the University of Barcelona and obtained the diploma of Advanced Studies from the University of the Basque Country in 2005.
After being awarded a fellowship by the Basque Government, I entered the graduate program at McGill University (Canada) under the supervision of Canada Research Chair Alexei Miasnikov. In 2009, I defended my Phd and was awarded the D.W. Ambridge Prize to the best Science and Engineering graduate student.
In 2010, I moved to Vanderbilt University to work with Centenial Professor Mark Sapir, funded by a postdoctal fellowship of the Basque Government. In 2011, I received the Beatriu de Pinós Fellowship and I joined the Topology Group at the University of Oxford. In Spring 2012, I was granted a postdoc by the Mittag-Leffler Insititut to participate at the special semester in Group Theory.
During 2013 and 2014, I was a Marie Curie Fellow at the Universty of Oxford working with Whithead Professor Martin Bridson. I also was a Junior Research Fellow at Linacre College.
In 2015 I joined the Mathematics Department at the University of the Basque Country as a Juan de la Cierva Researcher and Ikerbasque Research Fellow and since 2020, I am an Ikerbasque Research Associate.
